An Empathic Hungary win with Szoboszlai Shining (hopefully)

As we gear up for the second match in my £50 Sports Betting Challenge for Euro 2024, it’s time to share my prediction for Hungary vs. Switzerland. After a tough start with the Scotland vs. Germany match, my bankroll is down to £40, which means I’ll be placing an £8 bet on this game.
For this match, I’m betting on a Hungary win on PokerStars Sportsbook, I have bet $10.14 which = £8.
Hungary’s Strong Qualifying Performance
Hungary had an impressive run in the Euro 2024 qualifying stages, remaining unbeaten throughout. They managed to score at least two goals in every game, except for a single 0-0 draw against Montenegro. This level of consistency and offensive capability gives me confidence in their ability to perform well against Switzerland.
Key Player: Dominik Szoboszlai
One of Hungary’s biggest assets is their 23-year-old captain, Dominik Szoboszlai. He has shown immense talent and leadership, playing a crucial role in his teams’ successes. Szoboszlai has had a remarkable career with Salzburg and Leipzig, and he’s continued his excellent form with Liverpool this season. I expect him to be a driving force in Hungary’s attack, and potentially get on the score sheet himself. Szoboslai recently did an interview where he said he would love to stay unbeaten, perhaps a little optimistic but to be a winner you need to think big.
