Something I have always taken great pride in over the years is trying to do original things. Let’s face it, streaming poker day in day out can become a bit stale without having variety.
I have ran many promotions in the past that I am proud of, first off the bat was a freeroll Series I ran in partnership with Badbeat Clothing, the platform of choice was SwC Poker, it feels like I have gone full circle. Having recently returned to the Bitcoin Poker platform, which has loads of Mixed Games, a place where I feel at home.
When I was part of the ACR Stormers team, I ran a fun “Sit N Go Bingo” Promotion that encouraged players to participate in SNGs, a section of the site that, in my opinion, was not getting the coverage it should have.
And then there was the Halloween “W4rriorz Trick or Treat” which was bloody expensive 🙂 but I had fun.
Any way I guess this was a long-winded way of saying I’m going back to my roots to try and increase interactivity and have that great community vibe that I believe is key for streaming.
So the all-important question, what do I have planned for the coming weeks? Well….. this might come as a surprise to some, but it’s a no limit holdem promotion 😀
TonyW4rriorz Battle Royale Cash Game Champion
There are a few things I’d like to do here; the options, I guess, are only limited to my creativity.
My first idea will be to have a six or nine-seat table, with everyone buying in for the same amount. (Short-stacked to save on time) And the table plays until there is one eventual winner left. The winner would not only have a tasty amount of winnings, but would also get to spin the wheel on my stream to win an additional prize, which would range from cash, to a percentage of a tournament to Merchandise.
My current second idea would be to run the cashgame table for the duration of a stream, players who know the password (This will be available on my stream) are free to come and go as they please, whoever has the largest stack at the end of the stream will also get to spin the wheel.
Other ideas can be Bonus points during a game for those who win with certain hands at showdown, Deuce-seven is always fun, and other fun and creative hands get points. This would take more man-management from me, but could be a fun way to do it.
